Helping young people is our business. Since 1964, we have helped students raise
over 3 billion dollars in profits for enrichment programs and worthwhile
projects that are vital to a meaningful, well-rounded education. With QSP
programs, students apply practical lessons in goal setting, planning,
organization and teamwork - important facets of a successful real-world
business experience. Year after year, QSP fundraising professionals are invited
into more than 40,000 schools because of their sensitivity to the unique
challenges today's educators face, as well as the proven success of our
programs.
We offer schools and organizations no-risk, no-investment fundraising. Each
program has been field and time tested, is easy to implement, and has excellent
profit potential. As a QSP fundraising professional, you are the direct link to
a company that not only puts customer needs first; it delivers a value-added
service to the community.
QSP is part of The Reader's Digest Association, Inc., a global publisher and
direct marketer of products that inform, enrich, entertain and inspire people
of all ages and all cultures around the world. Our flagship publication,
Reader's Digest magazine, is the world's most widely read magazine, reaching
100 million people a month.. QSP’s beginnings can be traced to a 1963
dinner-table discussion with a few magazine titles scribbled on a paper napkin.
QSP was envisioned as a company that could help shape the hearts and minds of
children by assisting and strengthening schools and youth groups across
America.
QSP has come a long way from its first program, which was conducted in the
spring of 1964 with only 119 magazine titles. We currently offer more than 700
magazine titles and a selection of best-selling Reader's Digest books through
our Family Reading Program®.
Music, food and gift programs round out our fund-raising opportunities for
schools and youth groups. In the beginning, most of the sales activity was
concentrated in senior high schools. Today, QSP works with nearly 40,000
schools and youth groups, serving millions of young people of all ages with
programs designed to enrich the educational experience with a real-life
business experience. Built on a heritage of service to America’s youth, and, in
keeping with our mission, we have helped non-profit youth organizations, such
as schools, raise over three billion dollars for educational enrichment since
those early days.
